Day 1 - After Surgery - Quiet, Restful and Comfortable

The pain pump infusing medication into the wound site is keeping me comfortable. I was able to keep the soup and crackers I had for dinner last night down. I haven't needed the Vicodin medication. I ate a light breakfast and am hydrating a lot. The bulb drain dangling from under my right arm is draining well and a lot - which is good, it relieves the pressure under my arm, and will allow the wound to heal faster.

It was foggy and cool this morning. The coastal fog rolled back about 9:30 am.
I'm comfortable and resting and reading this morning. Dave went out to run his errands this morning - 2 hours worth and has been working on his projects out in the garage all morning.
