Nancy Reagan Broke Pelvis

Oct 15th - 87 yr old former first lady, Nancy Reagan, widow of former President Ronald Reagan was taken to the Ronald Reagan UCLA hospital in Westwood - she was experiencing persistent abdominal pain. It turns out that she broke her pelvis and sacrum in a fall she suffered a week ago while at home. She will remain hospitalized for a couple of days and then have a 6 to 8 week recovery with physical therapy at her home in Bel Air.
(The (2)large So Calif wild fires - the Senson and Marek fires are burning out near the Ronald Reagan Highway 118, the Ronald Reagan Library is located in Simi Valley.)

Oct 16th note: Senator John McCain was able to invoke Nancy Reagan's name in his opening comments of the Oct 16th Presidential debate, letting the nation know that she was in the hospital and that his thoughts and prayers are with her. Nancy Reagan endorsed John McCain's campaign.
Oct 17th note: Nancy Reagan was released from the hospital to continue her recovery and physical therapy at home.
