Jan 4th - Pounded by Wind and Rain
Jan 4th Friday night - the wind just howled and gusted throughout the night. The rain came down consistently throughout the night. Its cold! Earlier this week, the fire helicopters had sprayed the green soil holding material throughout the nearby burn areas, with the hope that they could prevent mudslides. It helped, somewhat. Even so, there was a mandatory evacuation for Modjeska Canyon in effect from Friday through Sunday.
