Either a Small Hummingbird or a Big Moth?

As I was finishing up in the garden on Saturday, I was over near where I have several nectar type flowering plants, in the NW corner of the backyard - and just as dusk was settling over the garden, a very small hummingbird came to enjoy the nectar of the flowers. It moved like a hummingbird, but it was so small that it may have been a really large moth. Anyway, I enjoyed watching it going from flower to flower, completely focused on its task and not bothered by my presence there. The light faded a bit more and it flew off to the north, which was the direction it had originally come from.
