Spring Has Arrived - Flowers in Bloom

Saturday morning - The weather is a lovely 70 degrees outside, with a slight breeze. Its really quite pretty looking out across the yard seeing the pink and white blossoms of my fruit trees. The trees startig to leaf out again. My clear yellow daffodils and pink and white tulips bloomed in time for Easter. My multiple varieties and colors of daisies in the front are in full bloom. The statice blankets the back hill in purple blooms. The hillsides, especially where the fire burned, are now covered in wild green grasses and there are the yellow flowers of wild mustard and black eyed susans and orange of wild California poppies and purples of Lupine. My neighbor, Alice's naturalized yellow freesia is in full bloom, with 8 big patches of blooms on the front slope of their yard. I even have camellias blooming still. My neighbor down the way, planted a very pretty Easter flowerbed of Iceland poppies, pastel colored snapdragons and pansies that I get to enjoy every time I drive or walk past it to head out of our tract.

Our lawn is beautifully green and lush, responding to the fertilizer that Dave applied about 6 weeks ago. Dave mowed and edged it yesterday, so it really looks nice and well maintained. A very pretty spring day outside.
